The concept of a tourist brand in Kazakhstan will be presented to the general public
The presentation will take place within the frames of the Travel Media Talks forum in Astana
On December 7, 2018, the first conceptual forum dedicated to the key trends in the development and promotion of the domestic tourism industry – Travel Media Talks will take place in the capital of Kazakhstan.
The aim of the project is to discuss the key features of the formation of the tourism industry in Kazakhstan and the potential for its promotion in the modern conditions of global digitalization of the world.
For the first time, the presentation of the concept of the country’s tourism brand, as well as its interpretation in the media industry and in marketing, will take place.
Within one day, experts in the field of tourism and media from 5 countries will share their views and ideas, including Kazakhstani experts and guests from India, Ukraine, Belarus and Kyrgyzstan.
The event will be attended by representatives of sectoral government departments, entrepreneurs, tour operators, associations and agencies, media, bloggers, opinion leaders, etc.
The concept of the project accumulates elements of discussion sessions and the experience of the popular public speaking format implemented in the framework of TED Talks, where single speakers with short presentations, lectures, speeches and master classes play a key role.
The tagline of the forum is “Tourism in the era of global digitalization: a course for a new generation”. The program of the event includes panel discussions and master classes, as well as an exclusive video presentation on global trends and future tourism development scenarios.
What is the portrait of a modern tourist and how does it change under the influence of digital transformation? Did Kazakhstan manage to form its own tourist brand of the country? What is the key problem for the development of the industry? Why are storytelling, content marketing and event management considered the most effective tools for tourist marketing? What are the challenges for the tourism industry to overcome when building communication with the audience? These and other questions will be answered by Travel Media Talks speakers.
